Parent-Based Organizations

The following is a list of parent-based organizations across Canada.

Workshops and resources are often provided to help parents understanding and learning to live with autism. These organizations also hold different events and activities to raise autism awareness and basically help each other out.

If you are new to autism, it is often a good place to start. You will find parents in a similar situation and they will be able to share their experiences with you. Keep in mind that every child is different and every parent too. But it is always good to know you are not alone.
